Behind The Scenes For Google

Work you will not see on the page, but Google does. Most of this was done by Wesley’s SEO team.

  • Descriptions added to every photo on the articles, project and location pages, so Google understands the pictures.
  • A published date on every article, written the British way.
  • The Chelsea project story moved onto the Chelsea area page, so the two no longer compete in Google.
  • The Wandsworth, Hampstead and Kensington pages now each talk about their own area, and the Hampstead, Chelsea and Surrey pages have sharper Google listings. Hampstead gained a questions section.
  • Links across the site now go straight to the right page, with no detours.
  • Leftover duplicate pages from the old WordPress site removed.
  • Your Google review count updated to 69.
  • A summary of the site for AI assistants like ChatGPT restored and updated. They now send you more visitors than Instagram.
  • Each completed project form now sends a signal to Google Analytics, so enquiries can be counted properly.
Enquiries are holding strong: 27 website enquiries from 1 to 19 October, on course for around 44 this month, in line with August and September.
